I call it Project: Ugly Truck. 97 Tahoe that I got cheap with a blown motor. She's running good now, just working out the kinks in it now. The trans is only a year old. I'm gonna swap in a factory rear locker. My job situation is kinda up in the air, so I'm not selling this or my other daily driver just yet. The wife wants me to keep this and sell the Subaru. I'm thinking I'll just keep both.

    Nice!

It actually looks pretty good. What're your plans with the beast?

The paint has a line of demarcation where the clear has been weathered doen. But honestly the interior is solid and the only rust is a spot on the driver quarter and the front edge of the hood. My plans consist of driving it for a while and work on getting all the stuff working - power locks and all that.
    Thanks for looking

I would hardly consider that ugly at all. I am not a fan of the rims personally but otherwise looks very clean.

I picked them up cheap enough. The factory size tires were worn out and I got these cheaper than even a used set of tires.

That makes sense then, sometimes you got to do what you can for the budget. I would love to upgrade my wheels/tires but nothing I found was a reasonable price.

I actually really like the late model wheels on it.
