I’d say that was money well spent, it may have taken a little bit of work to get it all swapped out but I don’t think I’ll ever have any issues of breaking these

What’s going on guy long time no talk! Well things will be changing and added on the truck the next couple of weeks with the truck, like coil overs long travel built steering and even less fenders for now lol. I ended up buying myself a basic long travel kit that utilizes the cast spindle but will still net me 15 inches of wheel travel and his steering kit which he makes his own pitman and idler arm strengthens up the centerlink and hiem extended tie rods he will be cutting out the coil buckets and playing the entire frame and building an engine cage with a box crossover. I have also taken off the tube bumper and put a stock bumper back on along with sound deadening on the entire floor. I have also put the old under seat box back in because I was over having a sub box on top of the seat. The last pic is what I will have for front suspension from now on

It’s weird not being able to see my truck every morning or being able to work on it and make adjustments and it’s only been gone for a week lol
I just have to think it will all be worth it

What’s going on guys I just realized I never showed the finished product when all of that work was done. I’ve been playing around with it the last few months and now it’s on 37s I will be installing the fiberglass fenders here soon I just got word today that they are ready for pick up. I put new carpet in the truck went with black. To make things better I finally left California now I’m living in Arizona! 10 mins away from the Colorado river and open desert

Now living out in the desert I have a lot more time to just got out around in the dirt and freeze myself so I figured I might as well mount my lights back in and fix my heater lines. Out with the harbor freight dust pan handle in with some 90* 3 foot long hoses to clear everything. While I was wiring the lights up I forgot how much I hate wiring but Atleast it the switch panel box looks decent on the core support

Well I ended up getting a little to spicy with the truck this New Year’s Eve and the back half of the truck said no more. My fault and lack of checking things led to this. When the suspension was at full droop the driveshaft yoke was contacting the pinion yoke which led to it breaking the u joint straps and slung the driveshaft hit the tank punched a hole in that hit the crossemeber the take bolts into and bent the driveshaft. Then at “bump” the spring weren’t able to arch enough and bent to leaf spring perches.
So new driveshaft on order with 1350 joints front to back still a 2 piece with an additional 5” slip joint upgraded to a 3” for the front shaft and 3.5” for the rear shaft. The rear end is out to go get the perches fixed and have a u bolt eliminator made for it. All in all though fun weekend. Happy New Year everyone
