I picked this up the day after thanksgiving. 66 2 door sedan.
406 sbc, cast iron vortec heads, lunati voodoo 268 cam.full msd ignition. 200r4 transmission, 2400 stall converter. 8.2 10 bolt rear with 3.73's and a posi.
Tci mustang II front clip with power rack and pinion.its going to be a slow build. Over the last couple months, started fixing some wiring, put the correct spark plugs in it, and got the timing dialed in.
It has some rust issues that my brother in law is helping me take csre of.

The cancer.the worst spot was in the rear fender lip, it's been cut out and a patch has been welded in.

We decided to shave the heads off the bumper bolts, and fill in the openings in the front bumper to clean up the looks. This is still a work in progress.
Once the bumpers are done, they will be powder coated with a satin black.

I decided to remove all the emblems off the fenders, quarters and trunk lid.
The holes have been welded in.

With the openings in the front bumper being filled in, need to find a place for turn signal indicators.
I ordered a pair of 12" led turn signals. Should be here by the end of the week.
I'll be making a filler panel between the bottom of the grill and bumper filler panel and tucking them as far back as I can.
Other plans are to go back to a factory steel hood, the fiberglass cowl hood on it now is warped. Paint color will more than likely be a matte charcoal, new wheels , and new sound system.

The interior is complete, full aftermarket guages. But stuff will be getting changed. I want to make my own interior panels, change out the ricer racing seats.

You gonna stay with blue? Looks like a a fun toy.
It's going to be a matte charcoal, with all the chrome going to a satin black.
It's definitely a fun toy. It scared the **** out me the first couple weeks I had it. The motor is supposedly putting out 450 +hp and almost 500 ft lbs torque. Until i get it on a dyno, i wont know.

Abbotsford B.C., Canada.
Just an idea.
1967 Pontiac Acadian Canso factory grille. Canadian version of the Chevy II/Nova.
(We had the American version here, too.)
The grill mounted turn sigs are the same ones used on the 1967 GTO.
Pretty sure that Canadian specific-built models & their parts are pretty well non-existent down south, but I'll bet that the GTO stuff, with it's relatively huge aftermarket, could be made to fit the Chevy II grille with few probs.
