Very nice build. Which radiator is that? Im having a heck of a time finding a 34" radiator shroud and two good fans

The radiator is a cc1520 champion radiator. I bought it off eBay type champion cc1520 with dual 16” fans it goes for $348 with free shipping. You need to order a shroud separate on eBay type champion radiator cc1520 shroud for $109 with free shipping. You dont have to order a shroud, but I hate using those crap plastic zip ties to mount the fans. The radiator says it’s a 34” radiator for a 1994 or 1995. But it fits a 88-93 with a 34” radiator. You also need a thermostat dual fan relay kit eBay type champion radiator relay185 $55 with free shipping If you want to run it off a temp sensor to turn off and on with the temperature of the water. Or you could just do a toggle switch. I did both the relay and ran a toggle just in case.Order it through eBay if you want free shipping. Champion charges $100 for shipping. From some reason you can’t just order a radiator ,shroud ,and thermostat relay kit as a complete assembly unless you order it through champion radiator. But who wants to pay an extra $100. I also used my stock overflow system. The only mod I had to do was remove the bracket bolt for tranny line to hook up to the radiator, I couldn’t get the correct angle for it to thread in without removing that bolt.My truck runs 180 degrees even when it’s 100 outside. I had champion radiators on 5 different trucks with no problems

Champion Radiator #CC1520.

(with dual 16” fans). $348

Champion Radiator shroud for CC1520 $109

Champion Radiator #Rely185. $55

————-

Total. $512

Who rebuilt your TBI? I need that done too.
tbiparts/spr performance. Looked really nice. He even went the extra step and painted the tbi pod and linkage black.Since I went to 54mm on the throttle blade bores, so I had to buy a throttle body adapter from tbi parts because my bore on my intake manifold stock is for 50mm. I did the service through eBay.This is a legit company, he is very nice and informative. Just remember it takes 2 to 3 week for turn around, but the truck runs so smooth and started easy. Worth the wait. You have to call him first. eBay keeps removing his number 217-473-4998. The service I had done was $399. But if cheaper depending on what you have done. You can also choose to not use the internal regulator and get a fuel regulator block off plate. But that requires external regulator, costing a lot more money and gets a little complicated. If anyone’s interested I can do a quick write, let me know.

I think even most purest will agree a 4L80E is the way to go. A 700R4 is not.....

The 4L80E is a th400 plus OD and some electronics.

Sick truck and I did autocross my Dakota 318 auto. It was lowered 4/6 static with wide tires on 17x9 rt rims. There is a lot of heat generated in that 2-3 minute range. Be aware

Plus the Gearvendors will work behind the 4L80E. I have one behind my NV4500 MW3 and 14 bolt 9.5 3.73. I get 19 mpg on the freeway @75mph with a stock tbi 350. Overall this is a cool build. But, I cried a little seeing the covenant 454SS body and interior Modded. I can see swapping to 4l80e, changing the intake to a carb intake and adding 4bbl EFI, polish and ported heads and a good bump stick. Im doing a LQ9 stroked swap with mine. building mine for daily driver, 5th wheel hauler, weekend drag and red light to red light dushbaggery. All while looking stock as possible.

I went with Flex-A-Lite Monster Universal-Fit Electric Fans 294, Flex-A-Lite Electric Fan Mounting Brackets 28000 and put a 454 radiator in it. I did use the option to use the on/off/auto switching. You can get this from summit racing.
