I doubt it. Cops will probably say, did you catch her in the act. My inside cameras caught banging about 3:15pm, I do however have her on video at about 7pm saying she was banging on the door with her fists. Well that's not going to cause this kind of damage. This kind of damage comes from kicking or slamming a shoulder into the door. Shes been hanging around with a couple goons. I bet one of em tried busting it for her. I honestly hoped they woulda got in, because then I'd have breaking and entering on tape. I'm gonna tell the cop all the other B.S. that shes done with all of it being filed, and that they still have not done $hit about it.

Well I told the cop all the B.S. and probations dept has not done $hit about any of it to date. Including her violating her probation. Police report written up, wife has to call the main police dept with case number in the morning saying shes pressing charges. Officer said well shes 17 now, so shes technically an adult. Again I will believe this when I see it.

Honestly she needs 6-8 months in county lockup to give her a new perspective. No phone, so no social media, they tell you when your gonna get up, go to bed, shower, eat, etc. You eat what they feed you. If you dont like it, you dont get anything else. They keep saying when she commits a crime they will do something. Again I told the officer they do nothing, and all it does is embolden her to do more. Sometimes I think this nightmare will not ever end.

Wife told me to bring home a bunch of boxes today. She is gonna pack up this kids stuff, and put it on the front porch. Cop said at 17 she is an adult. Grac said if she didnt get her old room back by this past friday that she was leaving. I told my wife that we need to make that a self fulfilling prophecy. So I have a bunch of boxes and a roll of trash bags in the back of my truck.

Heres a lesson in hardening your entrance way door jamb. 2"×2"x 1/8" angle. Make and mark off a clear template for the strikers and jamb plates. Measure and xfer this to the steel angle. I tapped the striker plate holes 8/32" and used countersunk machine screws

The angle I had was short of going full length, here is how to make a straight and butt welded splice. V notch the steel, and use a thick square tube backer. Use aluminum tape to prevent the backer from sticking to your pieces your butt welding together. Clamp with multiple clamps, and check with a straight edge. Tack in several places, then recheck with a straight edge. As long as it's still straight, weld it up, and grind it down.

More. This is strong enough, and seam is far enough above the strikers and strong enough that it wont fail. Next I have to file down and work the door jamb so this nests in at the original jamb height

Great tip on the aluminum tape!

I had to grind the jamb 1/8" on both sides so the steel would fit flush. I had a fan to blow it out the front door, however a lot got back inside. I used an air operated die grinder with 80 grit roloc sanding discs to grind it down. What a PITA. However its installed, the trim on and caulked. I countersunk the screws slightly deeper on the side that's seen, and filled them with JB weld and a bondo spreader. I cut strips of luan plywood to fill the gaps between the jamb and 2x4 before I drove it in tight. The orange screws are 4.5" long decking screws. The ones that are puttied over are only 3" so as to not go all the way through the 2x4 and possibly into the wiring on the other side. Note that they are staggered on one side to the other to keep strength up.
