Time to pick out some muffs for “dad’s truck”. For those that don’t know, it’s a 90 k1500, 350 tbi injected roller cammed, 300hp beast.
Made the downpipes and am test fitting different muffs to see what sounds the best.....down to a choice of super 10 flowmasters or magnaflow.

My personal preference would go Magnaflow, although Flowmasters do sound good at idle.

Ultimately up to you! I'm sure you'll be pleased with either one.

Have you tried the Thrush welded mufflers, they are very affordable and honestly I think have a better sound than Flowmaster or Magnaflow on these truck IMO.

I have the 10’s in my stock 96 2 door and new SS cats as well- it’s loud but I like it- under load it cackles, but that was the goal.. either choice and you’re good

We ended up going with the magnaflows. The flowmasters just weren’t quite the right sound for this one. (I have a pair of flowmasters - actually the knock off “thrush welded” on my camaro and love them on there)
