Motor mount placement

I am putting a big block in my 94 short bed. It had a 4.3 in it and was curious about motor mounts and placement of motor mounts.

Quick answer.,..yes, they need to be replaced with ones for a big block. Any parts stores should be able to hook up with them.

I think OP understands he needs different mounts, his question was on placement. I’ve never done this, but don’t they make adapters or something for new mounts? IDK, maybe it’s as simple as getting big block mounts.
