Missing ground (help)

I have a 97 gmc 5.0 sle. And having the usual ground problems. Jumping gauges. Speedo reads wrong. Alternator overcharging battery and causing it to leak. And so fourth. I keep seeing and have looked in the diagrams. Everyone’s truck shows two ground wires on the thermostat. Mine only has one. Is that normal?

What do the diagrams say? do you know which ground is the one you are asking about? Maybe G103?
I'm not familiar with your truck so maybe someone else will be able to help..

I'd be trying to find it if it were my truck. Hopefully someone familiar with your can chime in.

Thanks man. I appreciate that. I’m trying to look at them but I don’t have a computer and it’s kinda rough on the phone. I pulled the harness out and took the loom and tape off and checked all the way back to where it meets the big harness at the back of the intake and haven’t found anything
