I'm doing some swapping on a pair of 95's. 5.7 the 1/2 ton looks to have smaller manifolds and y pipe than the 3/4. Does this hold true with the 5.7 vortec between 1/2 & 1 ton also?

On the Vortecs, yes. Small block 1/2 tons had weak *** 1 7/8" head pipes where the 3/4+ got 2 1/2" off the manifold, flared to 3" entering the cats, back down to 2 3/4" post-cat. Can't speak to factory TBI pipes.

I put aftermarket h pipe on my 99 sub. 2 1/4 to muffler then 2 1/2 duels out the back. That no cat h pipe was way bigger. Didn't know if the 1 ton manifolds were bigger or not. On the 2 tbi trucks the 3/4 has bigger dump manifolds and much bigger y pipe. The 1/2 tbi looks like 1 7/8 head pipes on the y and the 3/4 is about 2 14 head pipes on the y and manifolds are bigger dumps on the 3/4
