Made the jump to a Squarebody...

Well as some of you know I picked up a squarebody recently. Its a lil rough body wise at the moment but I have a box and fenders sitting at a buddies place. They will most likely go on by early spring as I have a deadline to meet.

Specs:

1984 Chevy Custom Deluxe 10
350 Oldsmobile Rocket V8 with 4 barrel quadrajet carb and HEI ignition
Th400 transmission

It's definitely got character in its current condition Must turn some heads when you drive it LOL. Is the Oldsmobile 350 different from a regular SBC 350? I had an 83 C20 RCLB on the original engine (Chevy 350) and it was an awesome truck. Miss it every time I see my ty Colorado. LOL

No later then the beginning of July next year in order to have it ready as a back up to the Rat Rod for the wedding.

that truck must have had the olds diesel in it from new.When those diesels went that was the easiest thing to do put an olds 350 in its place

That was the first thought when I first bought it. But I have since ran the vin and found out it came out of the factory with a 305
