The lights on these really aint great to begin with.
I went through a similiar problem a couple of years ago.
Night driving in the winter up here is pretty challenging.
Sun goes down at 4:30
Monsoon pissing rain.
And they dont put reflecters on the road because they are afraid that the snow plows will pop them off.
Which is really funny because they dont plow the roads.
I polished the lenses crystal clear and aimed the lights and added driving lights, fog lights, snow lights all of them at one time or another.
I dont drive the Maxima in the Winter but took it for a spin.
Even with the HID headlights, I couldnt see ****.
It was my glasses.
From going out on the boat I was constantly getting salt spray on my glasses and wiping it off with the corner of my shirt.
I had been doing this for so long that looking through scratched up lenses had altered my eyesight.
I had basically ground the anti glare off of the lenses and chewed up the plastic and my eyeballs adjusted to looking through crap.
So, do some light upgrades for sure.
But dont forget to get your eyes checked folks.
