LS swap with stock 5 speed

I am looking to LS swap my truck and I was wondering if the stock 5 speed can handle like 350 hp if not are people just going t56?
And also what wiring harness should I go with

I swapped my 91 with stock 5 speed 3 years ago and daily drove it for 2 years no problem. I don’t beat on it all the time though. 5.3, 224 duration cam, flat top pistons and shorty headers

Stock nv3500 for 4 years with an L33 5.3, cam, ported heads. Should be over 400hp going into it...works great still. I even kept the old clutch from the 4.3L in it.
