yea its just the software.
Similar to a 4L60E to 4L80e swap.
Computer just has to know what to look for so it knows what it has control over.

He is using hp and just text me that it is indeed a 4x4 tune. I'll get a switch in this afternoon and give that a try. Thanks for the help.
