This is more of my goal look. Found this on Reddit from a Google search. He says drop keys in front and hangers and springs out back.

I'm thinking that spindles and a flip/notch might give a better ride quality. I'm not really concerned with payload or towing, have another truck for that.

Yukon is in the transmission shop currently, so spring/summer will probably be when I'm installing the drop parts.

Starting to slowly order parts and spacing it out over the next few months. Doing GMT800 lower control arms, Belltech drop spindles, Kryptonite upper arms (with their GMT800 ball joints) in the front. Belltech flip and notch in the back.

I'll end up spending more on suspension parts and the trans rebuild than I did for the truck... but this is all for fun / stress relief and never a money making venture.

I'll make sure to take pictures and notes this spring and summer as it goes together.

Belltech front keys maxed out as far low as I can get them. Belltech rear 2" drop spring hangers, 3" drop shackles, rear shock drop mounts, and clamped leaf springs. Probably like 5/6 4/6 drop in total on 28.5" tall tires

Looking forward to the progress, I’ve been considering similar on my 2 door. I’m elbows deep in LS swap so it’ll be down the road, but definitely interested in how yours turns out. What wheels are you thinking about doing?

Mine is being done on a budget, so sticking with those chrome 17" NNBS wheels for now. Depending on the offset, I may need to go a different route. I'd love to do the 2019+ brakes but I think those require a 19"+ wheel.

Hit a speedbump on this project. Having to daily drive it for a few weeks, so won't start until May/June.

I did decide to remove all the 4WD stuff minus the transfer case when I lower it. I will keep the parts in case I decide to go back. The 2WD GMT800 hubs bolt right up.
