I have an 88 dash and harness I swapped into a 96 K3500. It was a shell I got cheap so I put an LQ9 and 4l80/np241c in it and used the interior from a derelict 88 k2500 I had. I deleted the cruise control when I moved everything over because I couldn't really use it, but I have not had a working speedometer since. I was under the impression that the cruise module had nothing to do with VSS signal to the dash. The 88 didn't have a stand alone DRAC module to mess with, it's all in the cluster. I can't really figure out how to make the speedometer work again. Or the 4x4 wiring for the axle for that matter... The plugs are different. Ideas?
