I have the right 14 bolt rear. What is everyone running for shocks? I am looking to go the Bilstein route. I notice people say the ld 3/4 ton spring gives them approximately 2" of lift. I would think half ton shocks might be short. Looking for suggestions and what you guys with F44 setup are running. My truck is a 1997 K1500 Z71. Going to purchase the 4/1 leaf springs soon.

Thanks
Paul

The only trucks that got a different rear shock were the 3500s. 1500 and 2500 will use the same part numbers from Bilstein.

When I look them up on Bilstein catalog I get different numbers for k1500, c2500, and k2500 shocks. All 4600 models. Not sure which to use.

Weird, back when I looked them up fronts were the same for K15/25/35 and only the rears were different for the 35. Never checked 2wd. So if you have the F44 your ride height is halfway between 1500 and real 2500. I have the 1500/2500 shocks on my truck with a full 2500 leaf pack out back.

I am using stock Bilsteins on my F44 '97, I think they are called the 4600 series? Not sure, but I know they are the factory Z71 Bilsteins.

Ok thanks, How does your truck ride with that spring pack?
Its rides good, it is a little stiffer than the 3/1 spring pack on normal half-tons, but not by much, you might not even notice a difference.
