Many men try, and few men succeed on the road to pimpdom.

Felt guilty for not contributing anything of value so I poked around on Google for a minute. Look at this absolute land yacht.

I've always heard them referred to as Hillbilly Hiltons myself.

Hipster Hilton. They're all the rage with granola young people who build/buy $60k overlanders and take them to the farmers market.

I never minded sleeping in the back of this thing.

But ill tell you, after the 2 kids got here, the cab was untenably small.

But then came the day when I had heat and AC and a place to take a dump without going outside.

My girlfriend (soon to become my wife in 1981) and I traveled all over Alaska, and then to Oregon, in a home made rough cut spruce camper shell on a Chevy Luv Truck the summer of 1980. I'm too old for that sh*t anymore. Next time will be a diesel pusher, ha ha.

Now that sounds like an adventure!

Surprised she married you afterward. I guess that's the kind of thing that floats or sinks a relationship haha

Yeah, we slept in a 2-man back pack tent and she cooked all our meals on a Coleman stove on the tailgate. We drove on every highway (that was connected) went to Juneau, Anchorage, Matanuska glacier, Eagle, Denali, and then down the Alaskan highway, ~6000 miles altogether. Sorry, a little off topic...
