I got a set of 275/60-15 Firestone Firehawk Indys for my 15x10 Centerline Pro-Comps from Amazon. I was a bit wary buying tires from Amazon, but they had recent date codes. Supposedly 295s also fit well.

if you get b/s just right can get a 295 street tire. I ran a 295/45/18 Nitto 9.5" vette wheels with a 2" spacer on my Tahoe. Not sure but think there is lil more room on a truck.

what type of tire? a 295/55/15 will be 27.8" in diameter but only comes in the drag radial variaty, a 275/60/15 will be in both street and drag setup and you can go a bit crazier from there with the drag oriented tires.

then you will be limited to a 275/60/15 which is 28" in height and came stock on the 454SS trucks.

What tire depends on what look or performance you are after. IMO a 10" wide wheel is a bit of a stretch for a 275/60R15. A 8" wide wheel is a better choice for that tire. If you're just looking for a tall and wide street tire that needs a 10" wide wheel I would suggest a 32 x 11.50 x 15 or a 33 x 12.50 x 15. Both Goodyear and Yokahama offer those sizes in a street/all season type of tread. I can not speak for fitment on your truck though. I do have a set of 32 x 11.50 x 15's on 10" wide wheels on the back of my '68 C10.
