I have a 1993 GMC K1500 that belonged to a very close friend of mine before he passed in 2014. I'm wanting to build it into a street/strip truck in memory of him, I'm thinking of getting an 03-05 Silverado SS and using that as a donor vehicle, I'd use the 6.0, front and rear diff and the transfer case from the SS to convert it to AWD, using a TH400 trans that's been built and throwing that behind the 6.0 and installing a twin turbo kit. Has anyone out there also done a swap similar to this? If so I would be more than grateful to hear your story behind your build!
