Thank you, I checked out Spectra and they had a great selection of thicker ones. Haven’t had time to call them yet, but I might call a few local wreckers and see if I can find a 3500, before I call spectra.
Performance RadiatorIf anyone can recommend a source for a good quality radiator for my 92 Chevy 2500 with a 5.7 I would greatly appreciate it. I'd like to find one with a pretty thick core
Performance Radiator just told me they strongly recommend a copper/brass radiator for any cast iron block because of "galvanized corrosion" that aluminum causes. Anybody have any knowledge about that? I've never hear of it before. I've used aluminum on a couple of trucks but sold them before any problem developedPerformance Radiator

There is a lot of information about this online, by googling. An aluminum radiator will corrode from the iron but the iron stays intact. With a copper brass radiator the corrosion in from the block but it's very minimal. With both an aluminum block and aluminum radiator, if the grounds are not good everywhere, there can be quite excessive corrosion of the radiator and the block both. I think I'll go with the aluminum radiator and keep my grounds in good shape.Performance Radiator just told me they strongly recommend a copper/brass radiator for any cast iron block because of "galvanized corrosion" that aluminum causes.
