Looking for a cheap Auxiliary Fuel Tank solution

Late but i remember reading about this years ago. Ive tried it on the GMT800 but not on the '400s.
I still have that tank somewhere. but it worked good. I think it was an extra 17 or 18 gallons.

That's an easy kill, but the problem is where to put the spare?

That works depending on how you use your truck. I need all my bed, I believe porkchop tanks are my Huckleberry.

I ment on the outside, like the old stepside. But over the dually fender.

But your dually is pretty nice. You might have a problem poking a few holes and mounting the necessary plates to support the spare.

Or strap it to the top of the camper/throw in trailer.

As mentioned earlier, I would just be worried about filling once the camper is on.
