Its almost impossible to find anything now, lol. The 1 3/4 Hookers are discontinued, the coated versions are still around but cost over a grand. Hedmans are available but high too, more than the Hookers were. Around 600 for uncoated base headers. Im putting a 92 Vette LT1 in my 89 so the 1 3/4 arent needed now but the engine going in it next will need it. Rather buy the better set now than buy 2 and waste money.

Headers for 1997 2-door Tahoe 4x4

I just had a long chat with the exhaust builder at Stainless Works. I asked for long-tube headers for my 1997 2-door tahoe 4x4. They have a kit with headers, CT8898HCATY https://www.summitracing.com/parts/stw-ct8898hcaty which I asked about. He said this kit only works on pickup trucks and...

I ended up getting Hooker 2806-1HKR coated headers from walmart online, lol. I couldnt find the uncoated versions anywhere, even called a place in Canada, they called all their sources. Its been discontinued, as well as the ceramic coated versions. Somehow, walmart still had a source. Wasnt cheap but never find one again most likely. It has the 1 3/4 primaries that is for the gmt400, overkill for what Im doing now, but am going to put a built 350 in it later that can use them.
