About a year ago I purchased a set of Assault Racing 205cc heads from Amazon. Put them together with Competition products and Comp Cams parts. 2.02/1.60 valves and double springs. 7/16" studs, guide plates and 1.7 rockers. I got bored and have to do some work on the short block. So I had Lloyd Elliot owner of Elliot Portworks who is a well known and respected cylinder head guru, port my Assault heads. I need to drive down and pick them up before I can get some pictures but he has already sent me the flow numbers. I spent some money for flow bench time before and after to document these heads. He also reworked the chamber and milled them 0.020" as well as revised the valve job and setup the springs which are now 150# on the seat and 375# open.

BEFORE PORTING
LIFT------INTAKE-----EXHAUST
.200----------135-------103
.300----------183-------131
.400----------225-------150
.500----------244-------164
.600----------241-------175
.700----------241-------177

AFTER PORTING
LIFT------INTAKE-----EXHAUST
.200----------138-------107
.300----------192-------138
.400----------241-------164
.500----------274-------183
.600----------291-------193
.700----------295-------199

For reference a stock set of aluminum LT1 heads flow about 215/150 on his bench. His ported LE Trick flows flow about 290/210. Out of the box Assaults outflow the stock LT1 heads at their peak at only 0.400".

Lloyd also did a set of 5.3l 862s for me, cut them for 2.00 intake valves, ported them and installed double springs setup at 155# seat and 400# open. Cleaned up the chamber and milled them 0.020" along with performing a nice valve job. They are going on the LQ4 6.0L G-van along with a different cam. Those flow about 300/220 @ .600 from what I heard. From what I remember stock 706/862s flow about 225 cfm.

Going to have a couple of strong running fullsize vans in the DFW area.

Same injectors I run in my 1500 and have cleaned for my 3500 ready to go. Came from a 3.8 supercharged. Neat before and after head flow data from a respected porter.

GM used those injectors in the ASA LS1 race engines. I have full injector values from one of those tunes.
