I thought the Truetrac fit?
The guy @ Eaton/Detroit Locker wouldn't confirm it.

I believe the carrier is a larger diameter on the end away from the ring gear.

I am not sure how disconnecting the passenger axle would effect it.
Worst case scenario, the carrier would spin the same as the LF tire so maybe slightly reduced fuel economy would result.

As I'm lowering the truck a straight axle swap really isn't a good fit for me.:biggrin:

Well with 1 wheel unloaded it should freewheel like stock. Give that passenger side just enough grab though and that front driveshaft will be spinning. I'm guessing that's OK because that's how trucks with the NP246/Auto4x4 operate.

I saw a shiny spot on the carrier closer to the ring gear too. Was it a hump? Or more of a lack of taper? Either way can't beat $30.
