I'd love to do the floor like yours, that looks awesome.
We bought the kit from Lowe’s. It was $120. Didn’t want to buy the more expensive kit
Here a box we bought for our son when he graduated Wyotech about 14 years ago. I too didn't want to spend $$$ for Snapon. We did buy a $4,000 "starter" set of Snapon tools. At the time the school had a deal with them for 1/2 off all tools. I figured once he filled the roller cabinet he could buy the matching top box. Well, he out grew this box about 3 years ago, and Craftsman discontinued this XD line so, he bought the biggest Snapon he could find, LOL
Here's a pic of my 88 C1500 I found while looking for the tool box. It used to be blue but the Arizona sun bleached all of the pigment out of the wonderful Earl Scheib orange peel paint job, LOL - someday I'll paint it with base coat/clear coat.
Traded a VW Baja for this Snap-On 76" & side cabinet. Overkill for my needs but I really didn't need the $3500 Baja and the $9k boxes would bring $3k-4k .... but I ended up keeping it. Lol.
25 year old Craftsman 220 piece socket set & some harbor freight stuff here and there.
Here's the VW I traded for the tool boxes....
I acquired this beaut not too long ago
She's old, and a lil beat up, but it's built solid and it's a GM
Date stamp on the back is 3/97, which makes it the proper age to be a gmtoolbox400
I saw that on GJ, thats awesome. GMToolbox400 lol
Finally finished my top box project. 51.5” long, 18” wide, 6” tall with 2 swing up lids. Made it out of 12ga steel with 4 hinges from the hardware store.
Well it made it home
dont mind the off color drawer handles. I was testing to see if i like the black on black. I think im going to wrap them orange.
