If only for historical purposes, my fast flash was related to basic problems in the brake light circuit. In hindsight I won't start another LED project unless I verify each and every bulb is working at full intensity. I had to clean the frame ground, and change a rear fixture board and another bulb. The prescribed flasher is the right way to stop fast flash with LEDs. If you still have a fast flash after the swap, go back to the basics. My truck did not need resistors at all. The sprinter van I mentioned in an earlier post needed them because the ECM monitors those circuits and will throw a code if the load is too light.
