Lean Back!!!

OK guys I need some help here the seat backs on my truck lean too far back. Have you guys ever tried to reposition the seat back so they sit up a little straighter? Or any idea how to? TIA.

My 99 Suburban's driver seat does the same. Hoping someone has suggestions.

maybe put washers between the floor and the seat bracket in the back mounts?

I was debating on doing that or put some washers between the seat and frame. But I need the back to tilt up straighter. So I’m not sure if there is a way to put another notch in the seat to put it forward more or if I’m SOL..

Get the seat where you want it. And put vice grips on the mechanism, this is what I had to do because my seat back mechanism no longer functions
