First stage of the front end parts have arrived.
Kryptonite pitman
Pro forged idler
Cognito PISK
Super steer idler support
Rancho stabilizer
MEVOTECH lower ball joints

There are two ways to do things….right and again

Any input that members have would be appreciated.

Other than the Rancho stabilizer and Kryptonite idler(I used Pro Forged, it’s in good hands with the SuperSteer)just installed all of that plus new upper a-arms with Mevotech TTX, Mevo TTX inner outer TR’s w/Cunningham sleeves, Mevotech center link and NOS Timken USA wheel hub assemblies.

Control arm bushings? Sway bar bushings? Wheel bearings and seals? Inner and outer tie rod ends? New shocks and springs?

Check your engine mounts, and if they're bad, replace them while you're in there.

Anyone making quality OEM style rubber mounts anymore?

I bought new mounts. I know some people are concerned about the thinner metal used on them, but I don't feel that makes them underbuilt. I'd certainly use them if the existing factory mounts are deteriorating.

Whats the advantage of using the Super steer idler support over standard OEM bracket for a mainly street driven truck?

First of all it’s Made in USA :patriot:
I believe it’s guaranteed for life.
This is some of what SuperSteer says:

“Original equipment designs utilize common sleeve bushings, which often wear out prematurely and cannot be adjusted for Side Play. By contrast, SuperSteer bell cranks/idlers utilize tapered roller bearings, which are far better at carrying load and can be adjusted to achieve precise movement”.

Also, when I spoke with Cognito, they highly recommended it.

Pickings are getting slim for certain parts. I just scored some NOS Anchor motor mounts. Both for $30.00. I grab NOS wear parts when I can, it’s hard enough now to find them, never mind 5 years from now. Last picture shows the now China made Anchor 2637. Looks more flimsy.
