Wasn't sure where to post this, but this will have to do. Apparently my aluminum wheels are starting to corrode around the stem. Had to have the gasket replaced cause one tire was losing pressure, 10 lbs in a month.

I would like to find "Jackman" or wagon wheel type 16" x 7" steel wheels (6 lug) with a little backset for my 94 k1500 for under $100. Everything I find online is strange, don't like the newer style wheels for $150 apiece for gosh sakes. Would a 16 x 8 work? Do not want anything bigger than 16. Any ideas?

Thanks Frank. I had no idea wheels were soooo expensive, been awhile since I bought some. The stock wheels are 16 x 7, will 16 x 8 be okay? The backset makes for a wider tread width.

Cragar or vision (same styles) has some nice steel wheels fairly reasonable. I had the soft8s on my 87 squarebody (16x8) and on my 96 roadmaster. Around $80 a piece (17x8). Lil on heavy side but i never bent one when i was out wheelin.

I had Jackman steel spokes on my 79 chevy luv 4x4. But they have been out of business for a loonngg time. They were better as actual welded spokes. Not a pierced plate fake spoke. How about the OE rally wheel like the steel silverado?
