I often put my vehicles on storage insurance so they are still covered for everything except driving. A quick call each time I want to drive them and they are insured fully again.
Yeah, I might be able to do that with Critter - it's the only one not being driven right now. I don't understand the mechanics of it very well but it seems like the "oldest" (in terms of how long you've had coverage) vehicle on the policy, which is the black SS, has a discount applied for that - hence the reason when I call to add a vehicle, they ask if I'm adding or replacing. If the SS would just SELL already, I'd have that answer. Regardless, I'll probably call in a few hours when the agent opens, and add it, so I can stop worrying. If I put it off til next week's days off, I'll be a nervous wreck that a tornado will rip through and lift the roof off the house, finding my uninsured truck in the garage. That's my luck.

Man Richard, that thing is freaking clean!

All chrome Diesel Bumper and a bit of polishing and she will look mighty fine!
Yeah, ya know, I...I really am struggling with the temptation to just fix what it needs and leave it alone. It's a battle. You of all people would understand my intense desire to modify. But even the slightest change could waterfall into a full-blown rampage. I think I'm gonna save my "mod the hell out of it" tendencies for Critter. You may have noticed I started this thread in the "Member's Trucks" section, NOT the "Street Builds" section.. that was subconsciously intentional.

The only "custom" change so far.. forgot to grab a pic earlier. Visual deterrent (both windows) for the antitheft system that just got installed. It ain't cheap but it's pretty effective.

And now I figure those window moldings I got from Rubber the Right Way which have been sitting on the shelf will probably go on this truck and I'll order another set for Critter. Hopefully they can ship me an undamaged set the first time around instead it taking 3 tries. Also looks like it's got the very beginnings of door sag, although it still shuts very easily. I'll knock that out pretty soon before it gets worse.

I think her name will simply be.. "Red" :)

How about the 'Red Ryder' Truck is pretty much same colors as the box.
Ha ha... I just bought 3 of those. I keep bb guns scattered in different buildings for the snakes, and eventually they rust up and get replaced. This time I switched from the pump guns to the single **** lever action red ryder from my youth that I had relegated to toy status for some reason... it's better than that.

Love the new truck and it's clean starting point for you, but my vote will always be for whatever it takes for critter to get its minimum daily requirement of love. I love that truck.
