Issues with gauges/radio/dash not turning on...help...88 Chevy 1500

I just got a 88 Chevy 1500 I'm trying to get back on the road...

Got most of what I need but now the gas gauge, temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge, and the dash/radio isn't coming on...

A guy at a garage just put a new fuel tank/sending unit/fuel pump in and I think the gas gauge is on its own wire so did he mess something up there?

Why are the other gauges not working along with the radio/dash panel thing? Are they all connected or running through a certain part that went bad or something? Or what could be the issue?

How did he drop tank? Or did he lift bed off? I’d check rear harness going to taillights and see if ground wire is not attached or frayed.
