What is the best way to insert pictures?

The best way is going to be making an account on a dedicated image hosting site and uploading them there. I suggest https://imgur.com/. Once you upload the picture there, Imgur provides you with a bunch of different types of links for sharing the picture. For this site, you want the one with the letters IMG in brackets at the beginning and end of the link. Paste that link into the body of any of your posts and it will show up here.

I find it easier to upload from my PC or whatever device I'm using at the time.
