Hey all,
New here. A while ago I had a 95 Tahoe. Loved the truck, but wanted a diesel. 2 Fords and a Ram later, I'm in the market for a Chevy/GMC again. Looking at 95-2000 2500 or 3500 crew cab 4x4. Looking for the 454. Anyway, need some advice on what year to get... I have emissions testing where I live, BUT only for 96+. Big bonus for a 95, but I know the TBI trucks are dogs for power.
Just wondering, would a 95 be easily upgraded power wise to meet or preferably beat the 96+ Vortecs?
Or, are there plenty of easy power upgrades for the Vortecs, and still stay emissions compliant?
