In search of a discontinued part

[1998_K1500_Sub]

I am in search of the black plastic strips that are on the inside edge of the doors and close against the weatherstrips by the windshield. Any help as to where to find these would be greatly appreciated. Door seal retainer plate part #15725399. I haven’t found them in aftermarket and it looks like they were discontinued from gm in 2010.

What about LMC or a heat gun to remove donor?

I’m with Caman96 on a heat gun… that is, if you have a junk yard with a 110v close to your donor truck. Depends on how bad you want them.

Small propane torch will work if there is no 110, just don’t get too close obviously…

What do they look like? I don't think my truck even has them to build a model off of

Edit: do you think something like this would work? Is it just a flat rubber strip or is it contoured?

I'm fairly invested in a solution since over 65mph my truck has horrible wind noise, even after door seal replacement.

Going to give this a shot.
