Thanks! I think you had a certain project going with that truck last time I was here. What's the latest on that one?
Man, my truck is an on going project. It never ends. There is always something else to do, or make better ECT. My latest improvement is new E-bay headlights, and turn signal lights. And some LED bulbs. A mod I was putting off for a long time.

Since the last time you were here, hummm, well, I probably did the bucket seat swap, Chevelle floor shifter I built, the big aluminum bow tie and LEDs under the hood. Oh, and all of the polish work I did on the engine, alt, AC compressor, ECT.

I really like them. I got the headlights and turn signal housings several days before the LED bulbs came in, so I installed them with the regular bulbs at first. Yes the LEDs are a different color, ( more blueish light, but regular LEDs) but on dim, they really aren't much brighter. On high, the LEDs are somewhat brighter. I can tell that they are a cheap set, but they just look so much better than the OE headlights. Since I put my truck in a lot of crews in, car shows, it definitely brings out, or adds to how good my truck looks. Here is a before and after pic.

No, but if you search for 1997 c1500 headlights on ebay, they will pop up. Bulbs too. Search 1997 LED headlight bulbs, and match to these pics.
