That truck is pretty nice and appears to be in mostly original configuration. It's rare to see one this old which hasn't been cut up or modified already, so if it was my truck, I'd keep it that way. Maybe repaint it in the factory colors and possibly locate a set of the factory steel wheels & center caps for it. Paint them gloss black to match the truck along with stock size tires. I'd ditch the brush guard, the things over the bed rails and the aftermarket rear bumper. The current wheels aren't bad though.

Is that actually carbureted or is it still sporting the original TBI system?

Thanks. It is the original TBI system.

I have an 88 c2500 2wd 6lug that I inherited a few years ago after my Dad passed away and I was going to just use it for yard work here and there but I wanted to do something to it to bring it back to life with some " tasteful mods" I will show you a picture of the day I brought it home from my Dad's and some pictures of how it sits today..any questions feel free to ask.

Confirm that the check engine light actually works,my truck had a handful of things wrong with it and I could never do the obd1 paperclip trick because my check engine bulb was burnt out and since I never saw the light flash I thought either I was doing something wrong OR there was no code being thrown but there definitely was ha ha.. now she runs perfect.
