Just joined. I've been a shade tree mechanic ever since I can remember. Mostly Chevys. I've got an '86 k1500, '87 k1500, '88 k2500 (those first 3 are my boy's trucks), a '95 c3500, an '04 2500 Suburban, a '66 c10, a '66 chevy milk delivery truck, a '66 VW bug, and a '57 210 wagon. So LOTS of projects.
I've been switching the '95 over to power windows mirrors and locks. This site has been a great help! I got the door guts from the pick and pull. I also got an overhead console and newer sun visors. I'm not planning to do much to the outside. It will be a working truck and tow rig so the body will see more damage for sure. When the 350 goes out, I hope to find a 454 to go in it, or something better for towing.
Thanks for adding me to this site. I hope to get lots of info and ideas.
I'll post a pic of what my interior looks like currently.

Welcome aboard! Fellow white (well, white and blue for the moment) crew cab long bed owner here!
'95 seemed to be an almost experimental year for the GMT400 platform. Lots of interior pieces and various wiring changes for '95. Then it changed again for '96. Kinda leaves '95 in the realm of hard to find parts for in some instances. Not that bad, just enough to be annoying sometimes.
Whenever you're ready, I'll take the milk truck, the bug and the C3500, lol!
Is the milk truck as cool as I imagine?

Really cool! Love it!
I used to work for Dean's Milk Company. Bankrupt and gone now. A Vietnamese guy and I made 78k-82k pounds of cottage cheese 5 days a week.
That's a cool truck. I see lots of potential.
