Two or three coats of was should suffice. If you have a corner like I have form the tag board to fit your shape first. It will save some heartache later. I used packing tape to attach the tag board form to the outside of the case. I had some gaps so some hunks of wood clamped at the edge of the hole fixed that up. Test fit the glass cloth you cut. It's OK to be a bit small you can fill the gaps in a bit. The last image...... "They" say he who has the messiest bench does the best work"........ I have noticed though that a messy bench seems to breed more black holes into which your tools disappear!
