Hey, just signed up yesterday. My first truck was a 92 Chevrolet extended cab with a 4.3 and a 5spd, Bahama blue. I loved that truck and got rid of it a few years back because it just sat and my brother had “better” use for it. Last weekend I obtained my grandfathers 90 GMC c1500 SCSB with a step side. Trucks been sitting for at least 10 years so I’ve got some work cut out to get it back on the road. Body is straight and in relatively good shape. Engine has 145,*** miles on it and from what I’ve been told is still stock. Glad to have a platform specific forum for good info. FB groups tend to have quite a few too many clowns.

Welcome, from another step side and Moonie owner. Man, what that southern weather does to protect against rust sure does a job on lights and plastic. Looks like a great survivor and solid base to get up and running. Those seats don't look stock, any info on them? And if you were a LOT closer, I'd be asking if you really want the canopy!!! Lol
Keep us updated on progress.

Welcome! Another Regency Conversion truck owner! I recognize the seats and trim.

Those seats don't look stock, any info on them?
Yeah, it was part of the conversion truck package. Mine was in horrible shape, with rips, destroyed foam, and a serious amount of dog hair.

The mounting frame looked a bit undersized to me, but apparently it worked for thirty years, so who am I to complain? I replaced mine with custom frames and Cadillac STS seats.
