Loctite/Permatex share some product line. Loctite owned Permatex for awhile, but they're separate companies now...sorta.

I don't know of any difference between Loctite 592 and Permatex 592.

www.henkel-adhesives.com/us/en/product/pressure-sensitive-adhesives/loctite_592.htm
Specifically says "Anaerobic cure".
www.permatex.com/?s=592&post_type=product&dgwt_wcas=1

Says "LOCKS and seals threads". (My emphasis) Doesn't specifically say anaerobic, but that's why you have 4 hours to reposition the fitting--the anaerobic hasn't set in 4 hours.

What are trying to do, oil cooler at radiator or filter adapter cooler line fittings? What is your objective, this post from beginning to here has good info. Just don't, don't put any sealant or paste or anything on the AN straight thread male to female B nut. Clean dry straight threads. Threads don't seal, the 37° cone to flair is sealing surface.

Here's another option that uses the correct o-ring fittings instead of the straight threaded M20x1.5 fitting:

Use a M20x1.5 o-ring to M18x1.5 o-ring reducer like those supplied with my last two replacement radiators:

And two of these fittings:

Should fit perfectly with no thread sealant or oddball sealing issues. Thoughts?
Where did you source those reducers? I’ve looked and looked and looked. No dice. Even been to my hydraulic shop and nothing. Let me know. Thanks.

They came with the radiator, oddly enough. I have no idea where the manufacturer got them.

If anyone knows where I can purchase these lines already made up please let me know. I have no interest in running back and forth trying to find the correct fittings and buying another crimper that I'll never use again for my daily driver. All premade kits I've located come with an aftercooler but I just installed a new all AL 4 core radiator with oil cooler last year. Thanks 1998 k1500 Silverado 5.7L
