So you found it and connected it. Does work, does not work? No work, start with AC gauges checking if you got any sytem pressure.

Hmmm, I wounder if you're missing the clutch coil since the connector's gone? Or maybe clocked wrong when assembled?

Take a photo standing by battery, RT front tire looking at compressor from side, female plug should be on the top between 11 and 1 oclock near compressor body.
Here are the pics. Either the thing broke off or isnt there.

There was some pot metal looking stuff there. I ground it down with a dremel and this is what it looks like. Almost like a jb weld hole? So weird.

You can buy a replacement clutch assembly. It requires a special tool to install but they have that tool in oreillys loaner program.
Setting the clutch air gap is a bit of a pain to do so take your time and get it right.
That magnet is pretty weak and just a little bit out will keep it from engaging
And be very carefull not to break the snout off of the compressor when you remove it. Get at it with a small wire brush and clean the hell out of it then soak it in pb blaster or the like.
Not wd40
But that might not be the only problem either.

Awesome. Thank you. You are right, even after replacing the clutch, who knows what other problems exist.

After a 3 year dispute with the AC on mine I have determined to just spend money getting the AC fixed properly and let it drive THEM crazy with warranty service if it fails to behave. I have gotten several returns out of mine thus far.
Wise man. Where do you go to get yours done?
