Hey all.
Ive been helping my son with his 1997 GMC Sierra. We used a good cab from a 1997 and put it on a 1996 chassis with drivetrain still in tact. We used all the 1996 wiring as well. Some issues we are encountering are the connections from cab to front grill are different. I just cut and soldered in the 1996 to the 1997 but now can't find the green wires for horn. But the biggest issue is the difference in passenger side passthrough connections. The 1996 has 3 more wires than 1997 and different connection under the dash. Has anybody dealt with tbis issue before? Ive added some pics.
