Greetings clalonde,

Welcome to the GMT400 forum from the finger lakes region of upstate NY.
As a teen I got to apprentice in a small garage in Riverside, and also got
to work on C-130s up in St. Joseph as a weekend warrior. Ended up
having a couple of mentors (both civilian & military) that showed me the
way. Glad I got to finish growing up there.

Anyway, there are GMT400s of all possible variations from around the world
in here. But you will also discover that there's a small contingent of owners
who really enjoy the 8-lugger experience. Fun stuff.

Enjoy your ride as well as the forum. It's an online oasis of folks who's parents
raised them the same way that my folks raised me. I enjoy their company.

Safe travels. Hope the KC treasure yards are still as fruitful now as they used
to be when I was buying previously enjoyed Quadrajets for $15-$25 apiece.

Cheers --

Welcome to the forum from Oregon.

Like @Road Trip, I put some time in north of the river in KC, Mo. in a suburb called Gladstone. Also had friends in St. Joe as well. When I got out of the service I lived in Excelsior Springs for a short time and then moved back to Gladstone. I started my garage career in Gladstone. Moved from there, to Oregon, in 1995.

What part of KC, Mo or KC, Ks. do you live?

I affectionally call pewter metallic "Old Man Tan." I love the color though :D

Do you have any other photos? How many miles are on it? What are your plans?
Yeah I like the color. I had an old family friend that had a 1500 in this color. I'll post some more photos of the interior. There are 273k on the odometer, but owner said they put in new engine around 70k ago. Right now I'm working on doing front and rear suspension as some of the control arm bushings were worn and shocks were rusted/worn. I don't have plans for lifts or anything.
