Hello from Grand Rapids, MI!
I found this forum because I recently purchased a 1989 Chevy C1500 and was doing some research to plan out a restoration. I figured that there wouldn't be any better time to work on it than when we are all stuck not leaving our houses.
The truck is currently painted white with a tan interior. It was in Texas up to a few years ago, so it isn't rusty and is in relatively good condition. I'm planning on lowering it 2/4" and working on the brakes/suspension first. I know the basics but haven't had a ton of experience, so I figured this would be the best place to get some advice moving forward as I learn. I went ahead and posted in the Lowered and Bagged Suspension forum if anyone wants to check it out.
Thanks in advance!
