I just found this forum. I don’t have a GMT400 truck now, but I did own a 88 Sierra 1500 from 2000-2003. My parents bought it new to tow their RV after they retired. It was 12 years old with 96000 on the clock when I bought it. Regular cab, Longbed, 350, 4L60, Limited slip, trailer tow pack, HD everything, 36 gallon tank. It was a good truck and I put another 60000 on it in three years.

Thanks! Advance Design Chevys are my favorite, but good ones are priced out of my reach… The one in the picture I bought in 2003 for $450! Complete truck but needed everything to get it back on the road. Owned it for 8 years and drove it all over Central IL.
I am thinking now I might get a 88-92 or so 1500 shortbed Hotrod truck.

Thanks for the friendly welcomes and likes. I probably won’t comment very often but may ask lots of newbie questions.
First one: are SS454 trucks really worth the prices people are asking for them? Or is that a loaded question? Thanks
