Hello from south central PA.

Below are a few pics of the 89. Been sitting on it for over a year, finally getting the bug to tinker with it. Not too pretty, but has a good solid frame and will make a good project. Not sure where I want to go with it yet, but there she is.

Welcome. I like the old school saw blades.
I wasn't overly enthused about them, but then I got to thinking they are sort of "period correct" depending on what I end up doing with the truck. Thinking maybe a set of Cooper Cobra G/Ts to round out the wheel/tire situation for that "classic" look. Need a bunch of basics taken care of first - parking brake cables, exhaust, something to tighten up the front end (pitman arm?) - all just to make it roadworthy and to pass PA's state inspection. Then the fun can begin....

I'm going through the same dilemma. I have an 89 4.3L 5-speed 4x4, RCSB. The bed and the spare tire crossmember are shot, but somehow, the rest of the frame has survived.

Love that dual head light setup, btw.
