You can bend the rules a bit if you go slow enough to not overheat the tires. Heck, I drive slow running empty!
I found out WAAAAAY after the fact, that each scoop weighs about 1,250 pounds. That first trip was 4 scoops... Yep. 5000 pounds in the bed of my truck. I need E load range tires back on this thing. Live and learn.:boti:

Hey folks. Feels like I haven't been on here in 6 months. I haven't had any time to install the big 3 or the 4 high kits yet. A lot of other things going on. Quit my ****** job, start a new one Monday... things like that! I did get to use the truck for what it's intended for today. Here's some pictures. Poor non E rated tires. I didn't think they were going to make it, but they did.
Nice! I did like 8 trips of 1 yard flex base when I did my addition foundation, then 3 trips of 1 yard trips of sand for the masonry. I've done a full pallet of 80lbs 42 bags of concrete mix before. I did 1.5 yard of decorative gravel. My CCLB SRW K3500 handles it just fine.

Oh the truck was fine, but the tires on it are a $100 set of wheels and tires from a Toyota Tacoma. (Sold the wheels for $50, lol!) Passenger car tires, basically. Not the heavy duty E load range tires that belong on our 3500s. I didn't plan on it becoming a landscaping truck, but it survived. I won't be looking for the cheapest tires possible anymore, lol!

Yeah, definitely need some LT series. I sometimes remember to actually air mine to the 80 psi tire pressure they gave on the door sticker.

Even my 1500 runs LT tires. I loaded that truck with brick once and the P series tires made it feel like I was on the ocean on a boat. Not fun.

Stopped at a new (to me) city park a few miles outside of Louisville. Always looking for a shaded play area to keep my bright red haired 4 year old from becoming one giant freckle.
Decided to snap a couple of pics of my truck's current look. I can't wait to get the other grille/lights on and get it all in ONE color.

The bed, shell, and tailgate came from a donor truck I found. It's weird, I've never been a truck topper kind of guy, but this one with no windows works for me. I like it.
Nice! Where did that shell come from?

If you add a glass panel to the shell and paint everything the same color it will look like an extended wheelbase suburban!
