Hi all, I'm replacing my heat shield above the cat since the old one is gone, completely rusted away. I've looked with no success for pictures or rough dimensions of the shield so I can fabricate a new one. Truck is a 1995 standard cab with stock everything.
Does anyone have a picture or two? Thanks

The service manuals mention them but omit any actual diagrams. I assume because they were welded from the factory and not exactly designed to be a replacement part.
Judging by the spot welds on the cab floor, the shield is roughly 32*12. I'm not sure about the spacing of the air gap from the cab floor, though. I've got no reference point for that one.

If anyone else is replacing theirs, here's how I made mine:
-I cut a sheet of 1/8 stainless to 32*12
-I used 1/2" copper pipe as the standoffs, cut to 1/2" lengths
-I welded 6 flat nuts onto the interior cab floor
-stainless bolt throught the shield, inside the spacer, and tighten into the captured nuts
-tack weld the bolts to the nut from inside the cab, cut off the excess bolt to keep it low profile
-Congratulations, you have a bespoke exhaust heat shield
