Sorry if this is off topic but do you think having a 383 is worth the machine shop time? Debating on stroking my 350 but I’m torn.

The deeper gears are supposed to hurt your numbers so he gained power no matter how you slice it.

All depends what u want out of it. I paid a shop $5600 to build mine including the intake manifold. I love it, but still crave more power!

Cam must be small. I made 272 rwhp and 330 rwtq on E85 through a 4L85E and 9.5" 10-bolt with a stock 350 bottom end at 9.6:1, 906s milled 0.020", cut for 2.02/1.60s and 1.7 rockers on the little 196/206 marine cam. Thorley tri-y headers and the GM L31 crossram marine intake.
