I bought a smoke machine for $50 on ebay that uses baby oil and has all kinds of attachments. Would have cost me more than that to make one.

Didn't know you could get 'em that cheap. Hell, if it only worked one time it's worth that.

In fairness that was about 3 years ago, so they're probably 25% more now.

The one I ordered was $75. I like the look of it, the features advertised and it puts out less than the 1 psi limit for testing the Evap system. I am going to get double use out of it I hope. The 2011 Pathfinder keeps popping a code for an extremely small evap leak.

I'm guessing you've replaced the gas cap?

Yes with OE. I think it is the vent valve myself. Literally hundreds of them changed on Nissan products over the years I was in a dealership. I would rather smoke the thing than throw parts at it.

I liked Nissan better when they called them Datsun's. Had a little '72 1200 coupe when I was a kid. It ran on four squirrels on a treadmill. 85 MPH tops with a tailwind.
